Services Offered

The terms "counseling" and "coaching" are often used interchangeably, and the reality is, there's a huge amount of overlap between the fields. 

The most important difference between counseling and coaching is that counseling (or therapy) is used to treat a mental health condition. Since I am only licensed in Florida, I am only able to provide counseling services to residents of Florida. 

Coaching is an approach that allows me to help you make changes that fall outside the boundaries of treatment for a mental health condition. You do not have to be licensed to practice coaching, which is why I am not restricted in offering this service to people whose primary residence is outside of Florida.

I offer online sessions exclusively, giving you the flexibility to meet from wherever works best for you. Sessions are held through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.

Online services are especially convenient for clients who live outside the Miami area or have a busy schedule that makes in-person visits difficult. 

Florida residents are eligible for counseling; clients outside Florida are eligible for coaching.

Relationship counseling or coaching is a good fit for married, unmarried, or pre-marital couples. Many times, couples turn to counseling as a last resort when experiencing distress in their relationship, but it is also a wonderful option for couples who are looking to do some preventative work and make improvements in areas they notice they are struggling with. Often, couples come to counseling to learn to communicate more effectively or to learn how to better manage conflict, to heal from infidelity, or to work through specific relationship stressors.

Family counseling or coaching is a great option for families who are experiencing issues that impact the family as a whole, or smaller sub-sections of the family. Family counseling and coaching offers family members a safe space to work through issues with the guidance of a therapist trained in family issues.
